The amount and type of refrigerant used depends on model of unit: PRECEDENT S600 and C600 units take 14 lbs. of R404A and SB230/SB210/SB200/SBIII units take 13 lbs of R404A When in doubt- see serial tag

1.8- 2.0 lbs of R134A. When in doubt- see serial tag.

When is a service due on a reefer/TriPac?

Later model trailer units - 2 years or 3000 hours. TriPac- pre-2014- 1000 hours. TriPac Evolution- 2,000 Hour Interval - Oil change interval is every 2,000 hours of operation only when using a Thermo King brand oil filter and CJ-4 or better oil.

What type of oil do the units use?

CJ-4 or better oil, 15/40 vis

New Thermo King units report Alarm Codes on the units controllers. For other in-Service equipment use the common error codes document under "Services"

Are there used units available for sale?
